Dianne, Anne and Dan, It is the morning after for us. We are reflecting back on a beautiful two days of celebrating our father's life, and feel a real sense of peace and gratitude. My family is so grateful that Dan and Anne Houle were available to us at the time of our father's passing. What a relief to have Dan come to our family home to deal with all the details. He listened carefully to what we wanted, made suggestions for our consideration and then took care of every detail. Anne was a wonderful source of information and advice. Our family was well cared for from our first meeting to the final details and even have had advice after the service. Alexander and Houle set a new standard for the care of grieving families and their loved ones.

As a funeral director myself, I can not stop raving about the exceptional care my family received when my father died in March. Compassion, sensitivity, well appreciated hugs. A funeral home staff that takes the time to sit, listen and treat you like you are a part of their family meant the world to us. No pressure from Dan with having the funeral home I’m with offering to do things for me. Dan, you have no idea what that meant to myself and my family. Anne, her prompt assistance and attention to detail regarding the estate benefits service took pressure off our family. Words cannot express the gratitude and thanks our family feels towards Anne and Dan at Alexander & Houle Funeral Home. They made the process surrounding the loss of my mother as simple and stress free as possible, making us feel at ease with the decisions we made. Their support was professional and knowledgeable, and did not end the day of the funeral, but has continued with Anne’s assistance in taking care of the paperwork. Somehow thank you does not seem to be enough, but thank you Anne and Dan.

We are so very grateful to Alexander & Houle Funeral Home for the kindhearted support we received from Anne and Dan Houle and their staff when our dear Mother passed away in August 2022. Our dear Father’s funeral was held there as well 28 years ago and I remember feeling the same then. Recently, my sister passed away, leaving her only child behind to take care of her arrangements. Not sure where to turn, my wife and I brought her to talk with Dan. He was so kind, caring, and compassionate with my niece, that it took a lot of the fright out of moving forward. He gave her great advice and assured her that her mom was in good hands and would be taken care of. Dan even lead the procession to the cemetary on his Harley, as my brothers and I as well as my son and nephew, all ride. We cannot express enough, how much our family appreciates everything you did for us all at such a tough time. Thank you Dan and Anne!!

The team at Alexander and Houle has been with my family and I for three very important occasions. Each and every time they managed to make the hardest life transitions as seamless as possible. There are days in this situation, when your Dad passes that you don’t know how you are going to get through such a tremendous loss. My wife Rebecca and I have had Anne and Dan look after our needs on more than one occasion. We are very impressed with them. As well, other members of our family and friends have needed their services and were also impressed. They are the best, like family, extremely professional. They make a time in your life that can be so stressful and difficult go much smoother and less hectic. They strive to meet any and all of your needs like it's no problem at all, they just do it.
